Many people don't have the time, inclination, knowledge or specialist tools required to do DIY tasks themselves, but can't find a tradesman willing to take on smaller jobs.

For example it can be difficult to get a plumber to reseal a leaky shower. Plumbers are usually geared up for larger jobs, like installing a complete bathroom or heating system.

Many people have lists of different smaller jobs, e.g. a leaky shower; a sticking door; cracks in a wall & a broken dimmer switch.
